Over the past weeks, we have redesigned most of the screens you use every day. Same platform, same values, but a clearer, faster and more pleasant interface, on computer as well as on mobile, in light mode and in dark mode.
This newsletter gives you a quick tour of what has changed. Above all, it is an invitation: tell us what you like, what bothers you, and what you would like to see next.
A platform built by freelancers, for freelancers, only works if it listens to freelancers.
I. Finding Missions and Freelancers
1.1 A New Search Form
Mission search and freelance search now share the same form: clearer fields, keywords that accept the way you really write your skills (C++, C#, UI/UXโฆ), and help messages that tell you exactly what to correct.
1.2 Easier-to-Read Result Cards
Each result now appears as a card showing the essentials at a glance: country, field of activity, work mode and skills. You can scan a list in seconds and open only what really interests you.
II. Publishing a Mission, Updating a Profile
2.1 The Mission Editor
Writing a mission is now a guided experience:
- Fields of activity chosen from visual tiles.
- Remote, on-site or hybrid selected in one click.
- A daily-rate slider with the currency displayed next to the amount.
- Skills entered as tags, and a character counter for the description.
2.2 Import a PDF Instead of Typing
You already have a job description or a CV in PDF? Import it, and our assistant pre-fills the form for you. You simply review and adjust. This feature is now also open to free members, within a limited number of imports.
2.3 The Freelance Profile Editor
The profile editor follows the same design as the mission editor, so you will feel at home on both sides of the platform.
III. Everything Else You May Notice
- Lighter page headers across the site.
- A clearer AI matching card, and a light bulb that tells you when new matches are waiting for you.
- A redesigned recommendation page and a referral card in your account.
- A news section that is finally readable in dark mode โ the one you are reading right now.
IV. Security, Quietly but Seriously
Not everything is visible. Alongside the new interface, we have carried out an in-depth security review of the platform and strengthened many protections: tighter access controls, fair-use limits against abuse, and less personal data exposed in your browser.
We will not list the details here, for obvious reasons. What matters is the principle: your data and your exchanges on EuroFreelance are protected with care, and this work continues.
Is a screen confusing? A button missing? A feature you would love to have? Every message is read by the founding team, and your feedback directly shapes our next priorities. Write to us at contact@eurofreelance.eu.
Conclusion โ Built With You
This new interface is a step, not a destination. In the coming months, we will keep improving the platform with one clear goal: helping you find the right missions and the right freelancers, faster, anywhere in Europe.
Thank you for being part of EuroFreelance.
